Why do we screen?
We get it — blood tests and questionnaires can feel overwhelming. But here's why they matter:

Many recipients are premature, underweight, or malnourished. A simple infection for us could be life-threatening for them. Screening helps us protect these little lives.

We follow safety standards modeled after the Human Milk Banking Association of North America (HMBANA) — a trusted guideline used by milk banks across the country. We may not pasteurize the milk, but we hold it to the same high standards of care.

When a mother gives her milk, she gives from her heart. We want every family receiving milk to feel safe and confident in that gift. Screening builds that bridge of trust.
